Trimac Herbicide – Industrial Strength Weed Control

Trimac Herbicide is designed for long-term weed suppression, offering both pre-emergent and post-emergent control. It is particularly effective in high-traffic industrial areas, including roadsides, powerlines, and fence lines. When applied correctly, it provides extended residual weed control, preventing regrowth for months.

Best For:

  • Commercial and industrial sites

  • Rights of way and roadsides

  • Forestry plantations (pre-planting control)

Active Ingredients:

  • 880 g/kg Terbacil (Photosynthesis inhibitor)

  • 40 g/kg Sulfometuron Methyl (ALS inhibitor)

Key Advantages:

  • Effective against annual and perennial weeds

  • Strong residual activity for long-term control

  • Can be mixed with Glyphosate for improved knockdown

  • Suitable for boom spray or handgun application

Application Tip:

  • Apply Trimac to bare soil or small weeds (up to 10cm in height) to maximize its effectiveness.

Trimac Plus Herbicide – Enhanced Broadleaf Control

Trimac Plus is an upgraded formula designed to control a broader spectrum of weeds, including hard-to-kill perennials and deep-rooted species. Thanks to the addition of Clopyralid, it is particularly effective against woody weeds, thistles, and fleabane.

Best For:

  • Sites requiring control of broadleaf weeds

  • Industrial areas, fence lines, and rights of way

  • Areas with persistent perennial weeds

Active Ingredients:

  • 400 g/kg Terbacil

  • 18 g/kg Sulfometuron Methyl

  • 341 g/kg Clopyralid (Disrupts plant cell growth)

Key Advantages:

  • Strong residual control – keeps areas weed-free for months

  • Controls a broader range of weeds, including deep-rooted perennials

  • Ideal for use in combination with knockdown herbicides like Glyphosate

  • Flexible application methods – use a boom spray or handgun

Application Tip:

  • Use Trimac Plus where broadleaf weeds are a major concern, and add spray oil or organosilicone for improved penetration.

Trimac GR Herbicide – Granular Convenience for Forestry & Industrial Sites

Unlike Trimac and Trimac Plus, Trimac GR is a granular formulation, requiring no water mixing. It is ideal for forestry applications where a dry application is preferred. It provides excellent residual control, suppressing weeds before they emerge.

Best For:

  • Forestry plantations (post-planting application)

  • Bare soil treatments

  • Granular herbicide users

Active Ingredients:

  • 44 g/kg Terbacil

  • 2 g/kg Sulfometuron Methyl

Key Advantages:

  • No mixing required – applied as dry granules

  • Best for post-planting forestry weed control

  • Controls couch grass, windmill grass, and annual/perennial weeds

  • Long-lasting soil residual activity

Application Tip:

  • Apply Trimac GR to moist soil for best results and avoid runoff into sensitive areas.
