Key Features
- Advanced formulation technology
- Unique adjuvant system maximises uptake and utilisation of trinexapac-ethyl.
- Reduces environmental losses for a more efficient, sustainable application.
- Reliable, consistent results Improved formulation delivers dependable performance
across variable conditions. - Enhanced rainfast properties help safeguard results in unpredictable weather.
- Cleaner, safer to use Low-odour formulation with no petroleum solvents reduces smell, handling concerns and skin sensitivity issues.
- Fully water-soluble and highly tank-mix compatible with most turf fungicides, insecticides and liquid fertilisers.
- Designed for broadacre practicality
- Cost-effective for use on fairways, sportsgrounds and other large turf areas.
- Helps produce a finer, cleaner finish with fewer clippings and improved mowing efficiency.
- Healthier, stronger turf
- Promotes deeper colour, increased lateral growth and enhanced root mass.
- Reduces vertical growth to improve durability, density and overall turf quality.
How it Works & Mode of Action
Trinexapac-ethyl works by inhibiting gibberellic acid biosynthesis late in the pathway, suppressing excessive cell elongation and reducing internode length. Following application, treated turf produces shorter internodes, increased tillering and significantly reduced vertical growth.
Amigo 175EC is rapidly absorbed through leaves and crowns, with most uptake occurring within the first hour. Because the active ingredient breaks down quickly in soil, root absorption is minimal. Once inside the plant, Amigo moves acropetally (upwards) through the xylem, delivering even distribution to growing meristems where it regulates cell
expansion. The result is a more compact, resilient and visually appealing turf surface – ideal for maintaining high-performance playing conditions.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
Apply Amigo 175EC Plant Growth Regulator at least 6
hours before or after mowing and when turf is actively
growing.
Use the lower rates on turf with moderate growth rates
where a lower level of growth regulation is required, or
when used in a program.
Apply rates towards the highest end of the rate range
when growth is vigorous or when longer periods of up
to 6 weeks regulation are required.
Application made to turf growing under cool conditions
or to turf with low nutrient levels or where growth rates
are low may result in discolouration.
Well maintained turf surfaces are those which receive
at least weekly mowing and good levels of water and
fertility are maintained.
WEEDS CONTROLLED
WEEDS CONTROLLED – AMIGO 175EC PGR
• Amigo 175EC Plant Growth Regulator is a systemic growth regulator designed to suppress the growth of Bahia Grass and Kikuyu in low-maintenance turf, grassland and vegetation areas.
• Containing 175g/L Trinexapac Ethyl, it reduces cell division in grasses, limiting vertical growth and seedhead production for up to 12–16 weeks.
• This results in a tidier sward, fewer mowing requirements, and improved erosion control, making it a cost-effective management tool for roadsides, rights-of-way, industrial sites, and other hard-to-maintain grassed areas.
