BHA Di-Bak AM Aminopyralid, Metsulfuron-Methyl Capsules
Group 4 | 2 Herbicide
For the control of woody weeds and unwanted trees in forestry, pasture, commercial, industrial, and public service areas.
Key Features:
- Di-Bak AM capsules contain the herbicide active ingredients Aminopyralid and Metsulfuron-methyl.
- Capsules are inserted directly into the trunk ensuring an effective kill with no adverse effects on the surrounding environment.
- Di-Bak AM is available in 40, 200 or 1000 capsules packsizes for insertion into the Injecta gun and Spare Magazine.
This product is an encapsulated non-volatile, water dispersible granule with non-selective herbicidal activity against many weed plants. Product is injected directly to the stem’s sapwood i.e. stem injection into the vascular system. This product moves throughout the plant from the point of injection. Make the injection below the lowest branch.
The most effective time to apply herbicides to woody plants is during growth periods when herbicidal materials will be translocated to growth points throughout the plant.
Ensure that the plug to the hole is well secured. The plug is vitally important to retain moisture for the capsule break down and the granules to dissolve so the aminopyralid and metsulfuron methyl enter the sap stream and be translocated throughout the tree.
Visible effects on an adult tree can be seen in 3-5 weeks. Visible effects are a gradual yellowing and wilting of the leaves which advances to complete browning of above ground growth and deterioration of underground plant parts.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING
Di-Bak AM Herbicide contains members of the pyridine and sulfonyl urea group of herbicides. The product has the disrupters of plant cell growth and acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitor modes of action. For weed resistance management, the product is a Group 4 + Group 2 herbicide. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to the product and other Group 4 and/or 2 herbicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any weed population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if these herbicides are used repeatedly. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by this product or other Group 4 or Group 2 herbicides. Since the occurrence of resistant weeds is difficult to detect prior to use, BioHerbicides Australia Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of the product to control resistant weeds. Strategies to minimise the risk of herbicide resistance are available. Contact your farm chemical supplier, consultant or local Department of Agriculture.
